Fudge is a cant miss holiday treat with this recipe being made by the in-laws every year.

Chocolate Chips
12 oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Marshmallow Creme 7 oz. Marshmallow Creme
Sugar White 3 Cups Sugar
Evaporated Milk 2/3 Cup Evaporated Milk
Butter 3/4 Cup Unsalted Butter
Chopped Nuts 1 Cup Chopped Nuts
Vanilla 1 Tsp. Vanilla
Candy Canes 2 Candy Canes (optional)
Fudge Fudge

Chop the nuts. Unwrap the candy canes and crush with the side of a knife.

Heat a sauce pan over medium heat. Add the evaporated milk, sugar, and butter. Bring to a boil then remove from heat.

Slowly add the chocolate chips while stirring. When fully melted stir in the marshmallow creme, nuts, and vanilla. Rub the inside of a glass baking dish with a little butter. Pour in the fudge.

Sprinkle the crushed candy cane on the fudge. Cover with plastic wrap and cool at room temperature (best in a garage or basement). Wait about six to eight hours until it has fully hardened and then cut into pieces.
