Grilled Salsa PDF Print E-mail

Salsa is great and, like most things, it is even better grilled.

Tomatoes 1 Lb Tomatoes
Jalapenos 2 Jalapenos
Shallot 1 Large Shallot
Garlic 2 Cloves Garlic
Cilantro 1 Handful Cilantro
Lime 1 Lime
Salt and Pepper Salt and Pepper

Grill the jalapenos until the skin is blackened. Cut the tomatoes in half and grill for a minute and a half on each side.

Smash the garlic and chop the shallot.

Remove the skin and seeds from the jalapenos and put in a food processor with the tomatoes, garlic, shallot, cilantro, salt, pepper, and the juice of the lime. Blend until it reaches your desired consistency.

Cook Time: 5 minutes
