This is a simple recipe for roasting Brussels sprouts. It can be spruced up with many ingredients such as pearl onions or chorizo sausage.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Rinse the Brussels sprouts. Cut off the ends and dispose and discard any of the outer leaves that look wilted or dirty. Chop the brussel sprouts in half. Place on a roasting pan. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Place in the oven and cook for fifteen minutes, turning once. Serve on a plate and drizzle with a spoonful of good balsamic vinegar.
