Lemon Garlic Beer Butter Dipping Sauce PDF Print E-mail

Butter and lemon are two things that were made to go with shellfish. Take your butter dipping sauce to another level with this recipe.

Butter

1/2 Cup Butter

Garlic

3 Cloves Garlic
Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Salt (Sea or Kosher)
Lemon 1/2 Lemon
Beer
1 Cup Beer
Lemon Garlic Butter Beer Dipping Sauce
Lemon Garlic Beer Butter Dipping Sauce

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Mince the garlic and add to the saucepan. Cook for sixty seconds. Add the salt and the juice from half of a lemon. Be sure that no lemon seeds fall into the sauce as they will create a very bitter taste. Add the beer (Budweiser works well as it doesn't overpower) and cook until all of the foam disappears.
